Protest Stories

Lets walk, make some noise, create history.

History isn’t something you look back at and say that was inevitable. It happens because people make decisions that are impulsive and of the moment. But these moments are cumulative realities

This year there has been an unprecedented wave of simultaneous and non-violent civil activism. Everyone has the right to peaceful protest, the bedrock of democracy. While there is no specific right in law, it is enshrined in the rights to freedom of expression and assembly, and directly incorporated into domestic British Law by The Human Rights Act. Limitations to that right to protest have been passed in England this year as the 2022 Public Order Bill. It marks the most repressive legislation of the modern era.
